All internships are paid. Housing in a local hotel is provided and transportation for on-the-job travel is also provided.

This year our internships run June 1 to Aug. 9, 2009. Deadline to apply is March 23. Positions available include copy editor, photographers, videographers and reporters. Interns write and produce for a variety of media including a weekly newspaper covering the Leader's Training Course, an online edition of the paper, Web-only productions, multi-media productions and a year book.

Unlike many internships where students are used as gofers or supplemental writers, our interns are a vital part of our summer operation. They are treated as professional journalists who are are responsible for producing nearly all of our material. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone interested in the journalism field to gain valuable experience working under the same conditions as a professional journalist.
